Entertainment Pro Insurance is an insurance specialty agency that writes
coverage nationwide for the motion picture, television, music, theatrical, recreation,
broadcasting industries along with many special events. We write coverage for Faulty
Camera, Stock or Processing, Video Tape, Film or Negative, Third Party Property
Damage, Extra Expense, Rented & Owned Equipment, Property (Buildings & Contents),
General Liability, Owned and Non-Owned Automobile, Crime, Workers Compensation,
Excess Liability, Umbrella, Media or Broadcasting Professional Liability, Errors
& Omissions and Contingency Insurance, Event Cancellation and Weather Insurance.
SHARON EMMONS BIO
Sharon as the founder of Entertainment Pro Insurance has 30+ years experience
in the insurance industry as a retail broker, an entertainment underwriter and as
a wholesale broker. She started her career in 1972 with Fireman’s Fund, San Francisco,
who then moved their home office to Novato, CA. In the mid 70’s Sharon re-located
to Southern California and worked in several retail agencies until 1989. She could
not resist her entrepreneurial spirit and she took a hiatus from the insurance business
from 1989 to1995 and opened her own successful maid & janitorial service in
Las Vegas, NV. In 1995 Sharon found herself back in California due to a family issue
and went to work as an entertainment underwriter for CNA in Universal City, CA.
In 2000 CNA decided to pull out of entertainment, so she decided to work as a wholesale
broker, specializing in entertainment. After 3 years of working with a couple firms,
she decided to take hold of her own destiny and re-located back to Las Vegas and
opened Entertainment Pro Insurance in June 2003. She is a member of several entertainment
related associations, Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce and is currently licensed in
35 states. She brings diverse talents and experience to the unique entertainment
insurance industry.
Sharon and her husband, Gordon, have been married since 1971 and have two children
and five grandchildren. They all live in Las Vegas, NV.
